Mission
We are building a solid community of Multicultural golfers that support one another. The Wedge Golf Club focuses on impacting our communities through charitable outreach as professional businessmen and women and building a better society and golfers so that we can leave a legacy of excellence for our future Wedge Golf Club members.
History
The Wedge Golf Club was Columbus, Ohio's first black golf club. The club's purpose was to promote golf in Columbus, foster recreational activities, promote tournament play, and make golf as inexpensive as possible. The first meeting of the Golf Club was on June 14, 1954, chaired by its founder, Arthur Bland. In 2022 we celebrated our 68th anniversary as an active club.
