In an era where the fairways weren't open to all, The Wedge Golf Club made history as Columbus, Ohio’s first Black golf club. Founded on June 14, 1954, by Arthur Bland, our club was built on a singular vision: to break barriers and foster a community of excellence. For over seven decades, we have remained an active force—promoting the game, mentoring golfers, and ensuring that the sport remains accessible to all. We don’t just play the game; we carry forward a 70-year tradition of fellowship, competition, and community impact.
